Ledgeline

Ledgeline by Chrono X

Booking, deposit, invoicing and reminder software

Ledgeline is built around your business and customised for you. I set it up to match how you already work, with your brand, your services and your prices.

Your customers book and pay online, reminders go out on their own, and your staff work from a phone even with no signal. Then I build in whatever your trade needs.

  • Bookings and deposits
  • Invoices and reminders
  • Customer pages
  • Works offline

Substrike

Product · Windows app

Captions for your game clips, made on your PC

Point Substrike at a folder of OBS recordings. You get them back with animated captions cut to size for Discord, TikTok or Shorts.

Your footage stays on your machine and there's no per-minute fee. You check the words, pick a style and export.

Licence: $29 USD once for the first 300 buyers, then $39 USD.

  • Windows 11, 64-bit
  • 7-day free trial
  • $29 USD once
  • Works offline
Try Substrike free (opens in a new tab)

After 7 days you can still caption and edit. Exporting needs the licence.

Opens substrike.com.au. 7 days free from your first export, no card.

Next up: a version for long recordings and a Japanese edition.

The Substrike editor on a night of Escape the Backrooms clips. It found two loud moments to cut as highlights.

Case study

The problem
Streamers and clippers end up with folders of recordings. Each one needs captions and the right size before it goes out.
What I built
A Windows app that transcribes on your own computer, finds the highlights and captions them in a style you pick. It takes a whole batch at once, or watches a folder.
Where it stands
Out now for Windows 11. Free for 7 days from your first export, then $29 USD once for the first 300 buyers.

Free tool · In your browser

Take names and numbers out of a recording before you share it

Finds the names, phone numbers and addresses in a recording or transcript so you can take them out before you share it. It runs in your browser and the file is never uploaded.

  • Any modern browser
  • Free
  • Your file stays with you
Open Redact
Made-up example: Redact finds each detail, then blacks it out.

Case study

The problem
Taking personal details out by hand is slow. Cloud tools mean uploading the file.
What I built
A browser tool that flags names, phone numbers, addresses, emails and dates. TFNs, Medicare numbers and ABNs are checked against their real checksums.
How it works
Load a recording or a transcript. It flags the personal details. You go through every one. Then you download the bleeped or silenced audio, the redacted transcript and subtitles, and a log of every change.
Where it stands
Free and live. Name detection is tuned for English and Australian formats. Video comes back as audio only. I am thinking about a desktop version for long recordings.

Find out what is costing a Shopify store sales

Paste in a Shopify store's address and it tells you what's likely costing it sales.

Grade a store (opens in a new tab)
A real StoreGrades report for Allbirds, scanned 15 October 2026.

Case study

The problem
A Shopify store can lose sales for reasons its owner never sees.
What I built
A free grader. It scores a store on conversion, trust, speed, merchandising and search.
Example grades
Two real grades from it: Allbirds scored 85, a B, losing marks only on page weight and 72 script tags. Gymshark scored 74, a C, with no contact link found and no product data for Google.
Where it stands
Free on the web. In a September 2026 study it graded 313 Shopify stores: the median scored 78 and only 13 reached 90.

Custom work · Quoted per job

Websites, stores and tools built to order

I build websites, online stores and small programs for the jobs you do by hand every week.

Most of those jobs are the same task done over and over. Often the fix is a small program that reads an inbox or a folder of PDFs each morning and puts the result where it belongs. Sometimes it’s transcription or document search that has to stay inside your office because the files can’t go to a cloud service.

Custom work is quoted per job. The price depends on the job. There is no price list or range. After we agree the scope in writing the price for that scope is fixed. You own what I build.

Send me a paragraph about the job. Within three working days I’ll come back with how I’d do it and a quote in writing.

Things I’ve built

  • Websites and e-commerce stores for myself and others, including this one.
  • Substrike, Redact and StoreGrades.

My background includes developing custom Android builds for satellite and terrestrial set-top boxes, as well as creating specific applications for those platforms.

Site Audit is my free website checker. It opens every page at six screen sizes and presses every button.

Case study

The problem
My work roster arrives by email. Copying it into a calendar by hand every time is a job nobody should do.
What I built
A small tool that pulls the roster out of my inbox and puts it in a shared calendar every morning.
Where it stands
I built it for my own roster.

About

One person, start to finish

Christian singing into a microphone on stage, the band blurred behind him, in black and white

CHRISTIAN MURPHY. CHRONO X. MELBOURNE.

I'm Christian Murphy. Before Chrono X I was in senior product management and led technical support. I also wrote user manuals and technical documents.

Outside of software, I make music in my spare time as a vocalist, guitarist and pianist and still release music today.

Chrono X is just me, a one man band. So you deal directly with me from the word go.

Questions

Before you buy or ask

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Substrike and Redact download their speech model once when you first use them. After that the transcribing happens on your computer and your files stay there.
Is there a subscription?
No. Substrike is one payment. Licence: $29 USD once for the first 300 buyers, then $39 USD. Redact and StoreGrades are free.
Does it run on a Mac?
Redact does because it runs in your browser. Substrike is Windows only for now. If enough people ask for a Mac version I'll build one.
Who handles payment?
Paddle runs Substrike's checkout. They're the merchant of record so they handle the tax and the invoice. Your card details never touch my site.
